- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large pot, brown the ground turkey over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook for another minute.
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, and diced tomatoes to the pot.
- Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For added heat, include diced jalapeños.
- Can be made ahead and freezes well.
