- 1 kg beef, cubed
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 500 ml beef broth
- 1 can tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- In a large crockpot, add the cubed beef and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the sliced carrots, diced potatoes, chopped onion, and minced garlic on top of the beef.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the diced tomatoes and tomato paste.
- Sprinkle paprika and thyme over the mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Stir occasionally and add more broth if necessary.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- This dish can be prepared a day in advance for better flavor.
- Great served with crusty bread.
