- 3 pounds beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 onion sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 12 taco shells
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the brisket with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the brisket on both sides until browned.
- Add sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Transfer the brisket to a roasting pan and add the sautéed mixture on top.
- Pour beef broth around the brisket.
- Cover the pan with foil and cook for 3 hours.
- Remove the foil and cook for an additional hour until tender.
- Let the brisket rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve in taco shells with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and sour cream.

- For best results, allow the brisket to marinate overnight.
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings to the tacos.
