A delicious and tender brisket taco recipe that will be the star of your next gathering.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the brisket with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the brisket on both sides until browned.
  5. Add sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Transfer the brisket to a roasting pan and add the sautéed mixture on top.
  7. Pour beef broth around the brisket.
  8. Cover the pan with foil and cook for 3 hours.
  9. Remove the foil and cook for an additional hour until tender.
  10. Let the brisket rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  11. Serve in taco shells with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and sour cream.

Notes

  • For best results, allow the brisket to marinate overnight.
  • Feel free to add your favorite toppings to the tacos.
