- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 75 g sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 250 ml milk
- 75 g unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 200 g cream cheese
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, dry yeast, and salt.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm, then combine with the dry ingredients.
- Add the egg and knead the dough until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough and spread the cream cheese filling.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and roll into a log shape.
- Cut into rolls and place them in a baking dish.
- Let them rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly and serve.
Notes
- For a sweeter topping, drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and milk.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain softness.
